Test like there is no tomorrow

Why have a series of meetings, when you can set up a test in minutes or seconds?

Why is it so scary to let go, and test your way forward?

Tattoo thinking, another short snippet from Seth;
Just about every choice you make with your project and your career, though, doesn't last forever. And the benefit of taking a risk is significantly higher than it is with a tattoo.

So nice framing - stop thinking about the eternal legacy, most things will need to change, to modify - or they will beat about in obscurity before long.

Sure there are limits to what you should do in terms of maintaining a certain brand coherence. And having a bit of respect for the user as well goes a long way.

Remember that testing is a tool for finding out how well your idea meshes with reality. Not an excuse for just dumping random designs out the door.

Find something nice somebody else is doing. Have a coffee and figure out how to apply it to your product, industry, country and design manual. Then just do it. You don't have to test on 100% of traffic, start small and figure out if it makes sense at all.

What if?

Figure it out.

Hypothesis, baseline, change, test, measure and compare.

Tuneing in to an old album - Jeans for Onassis, Briskeby [myspace page! wow...]- more or less Norway only? Google and find out! Yeah, based on the wikipedia stub, safe to say they stayed a local thing.
